FOR ME NY
Planning and providing experiential programs using expressive arts
FOR ME NY is a consulting company that plans and provides programs utilizing the expressive arts method to corporations and educational institutions.
We offer a completely different kind of learning opportunity tailored to each individual’s needs.
About us
FOR ME NY is an educational consulting company established in 2019 by Mariko Kai and Miyako Tsubota, classmates from Kunitachi College of Music.
Having studied abroad in the U.S., the two reunited in New York and founded the company based on their shared desire and dream to “spread education in Japan using expressive arts”, especially through improvisation (theatrical improvisation), which is widely recognized in the U.S., and to foster global and innovative human resources.
Service
We plan and provide experiential education and training programs utilizing the expressive arts method from the United States.
Starting in the spring of 2023, Benesse “Mirai Campus” is offering improv courses in the area of art and expression/life skills.
Joint Research with Keio University
To further improve the program, we are collaborating with the Faculty of Science and Technology at Keio University.
The study used a sensitivity analyzer to analyze what changes occur in participants as a result of the improvisation-based program.
The results of the analysis showed an increase in “interest” and “concentration” and a “decrease in stress.
